Art Installation: We invite you to peruse our Antigone themed art installation created by the renowned multi-discipline artist Teodoro Dragonieri in collaboration with Sara Ahmadieh Rad. This exhibition in the Alumnae Theatre's lobby will be up for the run of the show.
Opening Night Reception: Meet the actors and production team in the lobby at the end of the show on opening night - Friday, September 18th. Light refreshments will be served.
Social Media Night: On Saturday, September 19th, we invite our audiences sitting in the last three rows of the house to text, tweet and send messages via Facebook about and during the performance. No flash photography, please.
Women of Courage: In the spirit of Antigone, you are invited to join us at 12 noon on Sunday, September 20th for our pre-matinee panel discussion introducing you to six ordinary women who have exhibited extraordinary courage. Moderated by Alumnae Member Marinka Yossifon, guest panelists include:
Meagan Tuck - singer and actor living as an amputee
Rachel Lauren Clarke - trans-woman and LGBTQ activist
Tessa Hill and Lia Valente - 14 year old sex education activists (“We Give Consent”)
Tasvinder Kaur - exiting from an arranged marriage
Andrea Patreau - overcoming mental illness.
